X-Spat for Mac OS X and the Audio MIDI Setup window The main function of the Audio MIDI Setup window is to provide the system with some infor-mation relating to the hardware configuration by which you intend to achieve Spatialisation ™ or surround reproduction. The panel includes the following controls and options. In the Audio Output area you can select the number of outputs necessary for your Session. Select "Configure Speakers", then "Multichannel". Select 'Octagonal' in the popup menu. Select "Apply", then close the window selecting "Done". By selecting 'MIDI Devices ', at the top of the window, you will be able to verify the presence of the X-Spat MIDI driver.
